I attempted to take off the transparent background for the tables and change the code to a light grey . . . but I think the ads threw off the code because now I seem to have a mostly-grey page with just a teeny bit of background peeking through at the edges (this worked perfectly when I changed the code on my main journal's layout several months ago—it's a paid account, which may have had something to do with this? Sorry about that--I was very busy with senior research until graduation in May and then went to England for a few weeks. Also, my computer's been at the IT department of my mom's work for the past three weeks or so (I've been using her computer since then). I found out on Monday that the scary evil computer virus I had was even more Scary and EVIL than I had thought--it completely crashed my computer and I lost everything I had saved on my hard drive. ::cries:: As such, I no longer have the bases and/or original pictures for the majority of the icons I posted on here. (I was *going* to save everything to the shiny CD-RWs and DVD-RWs I'd bought, but they needed indexing and I had to figure out which things would go on which disks, &c.) Likewise, all my IE favourites are gone, which means I'll have to find some of my resources again. To make a long story shorter, I'm *not* closing this journal--I'm just going on a mini-hiatus (and actually telling you this time!) until I collect enough screencaps/bases and the like to start making icons and wallpapers again. ~Michelle paint the sky with stars

It hasn't even just been this journal, either--sad to say I've been neglecting my actual LJ as well. I've been busy with school, senior research, the RPG I'm in, &c. The other reason for this post is to let you all know I have a new fandom (not that I needed any more, of course!). Over the summer, lowc introduced me to the wonderfulness that is Doctor Who. As such, I may be starting to post Doctor Who icons in the near future--I've only made several so far and I'll probably wait before I have a few more before I post them. To clarify a bit (as the show spans quite a few seasons), the icons will most likely only be from the Ninth and Tenth Doctors' seasons as well as the TV movie (since those are the only ones I've seen). I'm also working on a set of HP House icons--these should probably be up shortly, though I can't say when for certain (I do have to finish them first). ~Lily/Michelle paint the sky with stars
